Ignite AI does not collect any personal data or personally identifiable information (PII). Any text you select or type into the extension's modals is processed locally on your device and is only used to facilitate the extension's core functionality.
The text you select or provide is used solely to facilitate the "contextual prompting" feature. It is combined with your chosen prompt template and sent directly to the AI provider you have selected (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) to provide you with AI-generated responses.
We do not share, sell, or trade your data with any third parties. Your data is only transmitted to the AI service provider you explicitly choose to interact with during the normal use of the extension.
Custom prompts and settings are stored locally in your browser's storage (chrome.storage.local). This data remains on your device and is deleted if you uninstall the extension. We do not store any of your data on our own servers.
This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
